A Mechanic by trade, I chose to specialise in steering & suspension repairs, brakes and wheel alignments. I began working at Tru-Steer Mildura and eventually bought the business, this was over 30 years ago!
I work on most makes and models including 2WD Passenger Vehicles, 4WD Vehicles and the old classics.
When choosing a 4wd suspension/GVM upgrades supplier, the options were endless, each manufacturer believed his product was better than the other, (sales people doing their job), our decision to supply and install Tough Dog suspension and GVM Upgrades was based on a few factors, the time and money the team at Tough Dog spend on research and development, the quality of the product and the fact that products are tried and tested on some pretty harsh outback tracks, right here in Australia.

What We Look At When Advising Suspension Options.
One size fits all just doesn't apply when it comes to 4wd Suspension. Here at Tru-Steer Mildura when designing the correct suspension for you we base it on - the roads you drive, the constant loads you carry, accessories fitted, the weight of the vehicle, what you tow and how often, the km's driven, the age of the vehicle. This determines whether you simply need a suspension lift or should be considering gvm upgrades.
While installing your new suspension we are checking the condition of the remaining suspension bushes and steering components, once installation is final we complete a full vehicle re-alignment prior to returning it to you, this gives us peace of mind all works are complete and you'll be happy for years.
