Designed in Australia, the Tough Dog 4x4 Leaf Springs are available in varying load options to suit each vehicle.  The Tough Dog Springs are a progressive rate leaf spring with each leaf set slightly higher than the leaf above, this creates contact across the entire length of each leaf. Tough Dog 4wd suspension offers leaf springs to suit most makes and models.

Available in a comfort load 0-300kg, constant 300kg, constant 500kg and up to 900kg designed for the fully laden Toyota Landcruisers.

It's crucial when swapping out your 4x4 leaf springs to replace the worn bushes with new.  The Tough Dog 4WD Suspension rear spring bushes are high quality urethene, resistance to corrosion, stronger than rubber and has a greater longevity.

4x4 Leaf Springs U-bolts stretch over time and therefore it is essential to replace these when upgrading your rear springs. Tough Dog 4WD Suspension have available varying lengths to suit different spring ratings.

Replacing your Greaseable Pins & Shackles when installing new 4x4 leaf springs is an option and may not be required depending on the condition of your factory fitted springs and shackles. We generally recommend replacing these if the vehicle has travelled high km's or they are showing signs of corrosion or damage due to salt.  If re-using your existing we highly recommend cleaning them with emery to remove any pitting,  this will reduce the chance of your new bushes being damaged early. The Tough Dog 4WD Suspension leaf spring pins and shackles are sold separately.
