AXLE WEIGHTS

A common mistake with GVM upgrades is believing the extra payload you have with the upgrade, can all be used on the rear axle, unfortunately not the case.

Eg:  A 200 Series Toyota Landcruiser GVM Upgrade increases the payload by  500kg. but, only increases the rear axle load from 1950kg to 2200kg.

The extra payload you are receiving with a GVM upgrade is distributed across the vehicle, not just the rear axle.  Keep any eye on your rear axle weight as this one always seems to be the problem not the front.
